We know… it looks a little funny. DF 2.1 users often spend the first few holes catching flak about the way their putter looks. And as the putts keep falling, they spend the rest of the round fielding questions from their playing partners about why it works so well.

How It’s Made

All DF 2.1 putters are manufactured and assembled in the USA. They’re 100% CNC milled from 6061 aircraft aluminum.

Custom Fitting

The most important aspect of every L.A.B. Golf putter is determining the optimal lie angle for a golfer, which is accomplished through either an in-person or remote (online) fitting.

    Incredible piece of technology. Felt it the moment I picked it up at my PGA Superstore. No putter I’ve ever owned feels like this or rolls the ball like this. Even off center putts roll straight. The face is super responsive. Yes my friends kidded me about the look, but shut up pretty fast when they saw it work. At 71 years old I just shot my lowest round ever, a 73 with eight one putts. It’s changed my game, I heartily recommend it.

    I have bought and gamed 3 of these I have had upgraded shafts and different lie angle. what I did best with personally is off the shelf 35”shaft 69degree lie angle. I shot a 75 after golfing for 3 years at the time finishing -1 on the front yes this is the best putter I have ever used yet….. I just got the link and now I’m ready for the masters ;)

    Have only used it for 9 holes . I have had nearly every putter you can think of. I have always struggled with putting. The first putt I had was from 12 ft. I lined it up with the line on the ball. Just took it back and let it go. The ball rolled straight and right into the middle of the hole. Nobody was more surprised than me. The second hole was a swinging left to right about six feet. Again lined the ball and let it go. Straight into the middle of the cup. That did not happen again but every putt either stayed just short or lip the hole. I was very pleasantly pleased. The shape does cause some comments but if I continue to putt like this who cares. Thank you L.A.B.

    I have debated buying one. I have tried them out in the PGA store. I missed the first one, and then made 9 in a row from different lengths. I could not believe it. I am still wanting one, but I hate to do away with my high dollar odyssey. How much is 4 to 6 strokes a round worth? lol This putter may pay for itself…

    Love my LAB GOLF putter. A few friends of mine had gotten it and I tried theirs and liked how it felt and rolled. It helped my lag putting the most. More solid strokes and truer rolls getting me closer to the hole.

    Received my DF2.1 in late April and have never enjoyed putting as much in my 48 years of play.

    I openly admit that L.A.B. won’t make me the best putter in the field every weekend. No amount of magic will make me a better green reader or put ice in my veins on #18 for the win.

    But, what L.A.B. DF2.1 has done for me is make me the best putter I C-A-N be every round. I never walk off a green feeling like my DF2.1 didn’t give me the best chance of holing out. It’s balance is completely unparalleled by any other putter I’ve ever tested or used. The array of alignment options and the absolutely perfectly balanced face enables me to putt the best that I can every time I walk onto the green.

    In my opinion this is the best putter I have ever had. My putting was pretty decent (certainly, relative to the rest of my game) and this putter just made it even better. I find it super easy to lag long putts and my accuracy with short putts is the highest it has ever been. I recently started using the alignment arrows/lines in the golf ball to aim my short putts and I once I match the line in the golf ball with the line in the putter I just putt super confidently. It surprises me that there aren’t more players using these putters – is it because they are so ugly? (and I think we all agree that these putters are indeed ugly)

    The putter is suitable for fast greens but unsuitable for slow greens especially long putts. The Arc needed is wide as the putter head is too light creating inconsistence distance control. Try adding weights but difficult to get it to align, thus give up. Slow greens are common in Asia. Thus, after playing a few rounds with the putter, it is going into my garage. Initially, many of friends were interested in my putter but after trying it, they also give up ordering them.

It just takes a few stokes and you can immediately feel how it wants to stay square.     I have had this putter for several months now. I always track the number of putts per round and that number is steadily decreasing. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It’s really funny when I play with someone new because as soon as they see my putter It’s “what the heck is that, so I just have them try it and the comments are always the same..”wow does that ever roll nice”. This is the first putter that I have had that I can honestly say has really made a difference.

    Watched numerous YouTube videos and was intrigued by the design and perceived forgiveness of the putter due to its lie angle balance, as well as its size of putter head. True to its claim it’s a fantastic putter! Off centre strikes out the heel and toe do have great forgiveness and can hold the same line originally intended. I really like the off centre angle of the shaft and putter head, I feel it promotes a truer roll. The off centre alignment does take a little getting use to when initially putting the ball but once you find your preferred putting stroke it works a treat. A slight drawback for UK customers is there’s an unexpected import fee once the putter arrives from America, which isn’t covered as part of the P&P. Even still, once I received the putter I’ve loved it ever since. Well worth the unexpected costs but also worth the purchase price too. The DF 2.1 putter definitely rivals its counterparts in the same price bracket. For a golfer who takes their golf seriously, this putter should definitely be considered as your next club in the bag – it may even save you a few strokes!

    Got my putter a few weeks ago. Still have some getting used to it. But I have noticed that my balls do go straighter on mid range putts. I would def recommend and couldn’t be happier with this putter

    Outstanding product!! Amazing, although you will get plenty of strange looks and comments….until you start taking $$$ out of their wallets for all of the putts you drained!! If you have trouble with twisting, nervous hands- you should give this a try. Great technology. Won’t be long till you see more of them out on tour

    I worked with matt and was fitted by sending in a couple videos and also tried one at the pga super store… easily the best putter I have ever owned. I have several a bunch of putter… Scotty C, pirretti, rife, ping, see more, just to name a few and they will all collect dust now or I may sell them but you will have to pry my 2.1 out of my cold dead hands… only way I would even think about a new putter would be if I ponied up the cash for the masters or Star Wars themed 2.1… this putter is that good… my only wish is that i found it sooner!

    I’ve had this putter for about 4 months now and it has really helped my game. I am not a good putter and struggle with alignment and contact. The way this putter sits on the ground and lines up has helped immensely. Also, the clubface seems more uniform in contact on mis-hits, so I’ve had less speed issues.

    I tend to stand a little further away from the ball, so the lie adjustment provided is another feature that helps my setup feel comfortable.

Now I literally never think about squaring the face. Just read the line and then back and through thinking about pace. The dream. Honestly I’m not sure why anyone would use a putter that wasn’t torque balanced now.

    Saw a video on You Tube, just had to try. Luckily PGA Superstore had them in stock. Could not see spending that type of money without trying first. It just lines up so easily. Always felt like I had to manipulate my old putters. This one lays flat, so once lined up it stays there. The shaft and the unique grip put your hands in front of the ball. Putting just seems so simple now. Ball stays on your intended line even on off center hits. The oversize head is lite, so short putts seem to make it to the hole and longer putts are more comfortable to give it a good whack but not sail past the hole. It is unique and have to try for yourself. I immediately went to play nine holes after I bought it, and the random guy I got paired with asked for the name of the putter and took a picture of it after the round. Do a search and check out their website. I am torn, part of me wants to keep it a secret and part of me wants to tell anyone who will listen.
